Obituary

Betty Ann (Esposito) Torresani, 85, formerly of Drums, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at The Corrigan House, Hazleton.

Born August 1, 1937, in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary (Cusat) Esposito.

Betty Ann worked at Brills Dress Shop and until her retirement she was a clerk at Greco Pharmacy in Freeland and Hazleton for several years. Betty Ann was known for her sense of humor.

She was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Torresani and sisters Mary Hauser, Jean Kennedy, and Josephine Mussoline.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Sept. 17, at Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton. Family and Friends may call from 9 AM until the time of mass. Interment will follow in RC Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Arrangements through Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home have been entrusted to Ryan J. Barilla nephew of Betty Ann.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to The Corrigan House, 350 Hazle Twp. Blvd, Hazleton, PA 18202.
